As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks related to financial records and transactions. Your attention to detail and accuracy will contribute to the smooth operation of the finance department.

Accurately enter financial transactions and data into the company's financial systems.
Verify the completeness and correctness of financial records.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
Assist in document management and archiving.
Assist in the processing of supplier invoices and vendor payments.
Verify and match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Prepare invoice batches for approval and payment.
Monitor and track expenses, ensuring compliance with budgetary limits.
Assist in expense report processing and reimbursement.
Provide support in generating financial reports and summaries as required by the finance team.
Assist in data collection and report preparation.
Provide administrative support to the finance department, including filing, correspondence, and scheduling.
Facilitate communication within the finance department and with other departments as needed.
Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, prioritizing guests' and colleagues' health and safety, as well as environmental conservation.
Adhere to hotel environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.

Part Time Virtual Assistant / Data Entry Person for Ecommerce - Remote

We are an ecommerce company and need a part time person to help with content creation, data entry, research and related assignments from time to time.

You will need to have a good internet connection.

You must have very good English. Without good English, you will not be able to create good product content / descriptions.

We train via screen share on Skype and also through videos.

We use a time and activity tracker called Hubstaff that is to be installed on your computer. You will be required to use that so we can monitor your work.

This is a remote job. That is, you will work from home.

Pay: Rs. 100 per hour for the first six months. After that, your performance will be reviewed and you will be given a raise accordingly. This is a long term job, not a short term project.

Payment: Every two weeks via Western Union straight to your bank account

Hours: Up to you. Work at a time that suits you.

Number of hours: If you can work a steady 4 hours / day, Monday through Friday, that would be good.

You need to have some knowledge of a graphic software like Paint or Photoshop or Canva to make minor sizing edits to pictures.

Office Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (Night Shift)

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately input data related to shipments, customer details, and freight information into the company’s systems.
Maintain and update logistics databases with current and accurate information.
Verify and cross-check data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Handle daily documentation of logistics activities, including bills of lading, invoices, and shipment tracking.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely data flow for operations.
Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation for management.
Monitor and update shipment statuses, ensuring all information is up to date.
Identify and correct data discrepancies and resolve any related issues.
Ensure confidentiality and security of all data entered.
Support other clerical and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar position, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle high volumes of data efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
