About our Content Optimisation Specialist role.
As a Content Optimisation Specialist, you’ll be responsible for measuring and optimising the performance of Sage content marketing and customer success content globally including influence on sales pipeline and revenue as well as producing insights to enable the production of customer-centric, differentiated content.

While the role is for an individual contributor, we are looking for a candidate that is experienced in content optimisation and is comfortable taking the lead to identify new and better ways of producing insight-based content and effective measurement of content performance within campaigns and beyond. The role has opportunities to use a range of measurement tools and dashboards and utilise various research methods including qualitative and quantitative.

This is a great opportunity to work in the Integrated Campaigns team on a temporary contract to end of August 2025.

Location – 3 days per week out of our Newcastle or London Office

Key Responsibilities
Summary of your day-to-day?
In a typical day, you will manage and analyse both quantitative and qualitative data from Sage's global marketing content, synthesising monthly insights and recommendations. You oversee the performance analysis, optimisation, and impact of multi-channel content, including blogs, customer stories, and campaigns. Additionally, you manage conversion rate optimisation (CRO), personalisation, and user research programs for blog and campaign pages, including testing and reporting. You collaborate with customer marketing teams to drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities, support regional content teams by educating them on the impact of content on sales and brand metrics, and build the case for content investment across the sales funnel. By producing data-backed insights and quarterly reports, you work with web analytics, SEO, and social tools, while collaborating with marketing intelligence teams to enhance content reporting infrastructure. You consistently gather insights to improve content strategies.

Minimum qualifications
Experience of content optimisation and/or content performance measurement experience

Experience working with SEO and data and analytics teams

Conversion optimisation experience

Understanding of the content, marketing and web measurement landscape


We will be extra interested in your experience using Salesforce for reporting, ContentSquare, SimilarWeb, Buzzsumo, PowerBI, Google Analytics, Optimizley or similar tools.

**Your Team:** Times Money Mentor was launched December 2019 with the goal of helping everyone across the UK better understand their financial world and make the right decisions that will benefit them today and long into the future.

The Money Mentor website is an Editorial initiative and presents excellent opportunities to input directly into the wider Product and Editorial strategies.

**Day-to-day:** You will be gathering search trends and insights to inform new, high-quality content and content refreshes, optimising on-page furniture as well as taking part in longer term planning to shape the Money Mentor content strategy across digital, video, ecommerce and social for the future. You’ll turn data into content briefs and be working alongside the editor and writing team, as well as the ecommerce lead and ad manager, plus wider Insights team. You will need a passion for data and analytics as well as the ability to translate the numbers into actionable insights for editorial, product and the ecommerce teams, developing ways to grow our audience and deliver more traffic and conversions to ensure revenue growth. You will oversee on page SEO implementation, with support from the technical SEO team and key stakeholders around the business. You will regularly carry out competitor analysis and identify new opportunities and ways to optimise existing content plus work closely with the Partnerships Lead to define audience and influence strategy across key partnership projects.

**What we are looking for from you:**

+ In-depth knowledge of on page SEO for publishers (on-page essential, technical a strong plus)

+ Journalism experience/qualifications, ideally in the personal finance space
